Our consulting services provide you with the current battery knowledge for your power solutions. We also can test and analyze the power consumption of your device and advise you on the proper battery to power your device.

Advise customer’s options for powering their device

There are many different battery chemistries, and the task of searching the best chemistries to fit your requirements can be tedious. We provide you with the most current information that is available and convey this information in an easy to follow manner so you can make the best decision to power your device. We can also participate early in the design stage of a device for an optimal battery-device combination.

Testing and analysis

We perform battery and electrochemical testing and provide analysis of the results in a complete and understandable way. We also advise you the best way to extend the life of a battery based on results. Take for example, battery charging. We can advise a way to charge a battery in order to extend the battery’s service life. We can also compare the performance of similar batteries made by different manufactures and advise you which battery suits your device the best.

Training programs

We are in collaboration with the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands where we supervise and train students in the fields of electrochemistry and batteries. This includes material synthesis and characterization (e.g. X-ray diffraction, SEM, etc.), fabrication of electrode coatings and test-cells, electrochemical tests (e.g. CV, EIS, battery cycling etc.), and data analysis.
